    1. Proofreading will make your work better

    There may be a lot of typos or grammatical mistakes and they can lead to a lot of chaos in the long run. Hence, being cautious is a necessity. Everyone makes mistakes but by proofreading they can be eliminated. Not only does the grammar needs to be proofread but also the format of the brochure or flyer. Check out some of the ways to print a brochure. These errors can be deadly. In other words, two types of proofreading are to be considered before printing your work. The first is linguistic proofreading. The area of focus is editing the grammar and spelling and to check if the language is in flow. The second type of proofreading is graphic one or pre-press. The main focus here is on the graphics of the ad or the image that the lines are in sync and the text spacing is even.

    2. The size of the images should be correct

    It is always good to double-check the requirements of a company or a client before printing the ad or images. The resolution should be high and also focus on the size that is preferred by the clients. It is recommended that the image size to be printed should be 300 DPI or even more.

    3. The color of the images should be saved in the right format

    For forming a logo, use the vector format. These logos should be properly customized because the ones used in the document file are only good for PowerPoint presentations. The colors should be according to the demand of the client. The format should be CMYK.

    4. The monitor should be properly color corrected.

    The images cannot be properly printed if the monitor is not color corrected every four weeks. There are software’s’ that can help you in reminding when to color correct.

    5. The crop marks are to be defined

    Before printing the file should be rechecked for any color bleeds or cuts. These marks are important for indicating the edges of the design and where to cut after prints. The bleed is the part where text is compensated for trimming.

    Prepress checking is important for figuring out minor or major errors before printing your file. Hence, before printing your work carefully review it and save your time from redoing your work.
